Polish is the one ugly Slavic language.

I began practicing Polish with Rosetta Stone software, but I didn't get very advanced. However after seeing about 5-10 minutes of this video, I know that my learning from Rosetta Stone was not a waste, and I'm motivated to continue learning here. Thanks for the video:)

I recognized some inaccuracies in this video. I wouldn't recommend it honestly. For example, 'pa' is not very common when you leave someone. Most people would use also 'cześć' or 'na razie' or 'hej' or 'do zobaczenia' (see you).

We say 'CAŁA przyjemność po mojej stronie' (Whole pleasure is on my side) and it's much more natural in formal Polish.

When I was recently in a hotel in Poland I heard a knock at my door. It was a cleaner announcing herself as "Room Service" (not serwis pokojowy) I think the English term is rapidly replacing the Polish one.
